A magnificent example of late Victorian flow blue porcelain, this large baluster vase is a rare and impressive display piece for the serious collector. Decorated in the beloved Oriental pattern — a classic Chinoiserie scene featuring a pagoda, bridge, and lush trees rendered in rich, softly flowing cobalt blue — and lavishly gilded throughout.

The flared rim, foot, and applied lion-head handles are heavily accented in gold, with a repeating floral motif on the rim interior. The octagonal body adds architectural elegance to an already commanding form.
