A beautiful antique black transferware ironstone plate in the "Jeddo" pattern by W. Adams & Sons, crafted in Staffordshire, England during the Victorian era.
This elegant plate features a richly detailed chinoiserie-inspired scene with pagodas, palm trees, florals, and decorative vessels, framed by an intricate border. The dramatic black transfer design on creamy ironstone creates a timeless look that collectors of English transferware love.
Marked W. Adams & Sons – Jeddo – Ironstone on the reverse.
Dimensions: 8.5" diameter
Condition:
Three separate hairline cracks are visible on the back, consistent with antique age. The cracks do not go through the plate and do not impact its display. Light crazing and patina typical of 19th-century ironstone add to its authentic antique character.
